LODE
SHEET 01Survey of a fee vein / Solana

Trading fees, mined.

LODE shares its own trading fees by proof of work. Every minute the keeper claims the fees the LODE pool earned, 90% of them become that round's pot, and the pot is split among the wallets that hashed the round by the difficulty of each wallet's best hash.

The LODE program has not opened a round on chain. When it does, this strip shows the round number, its clock, the carry and the miners, read straight from the program.

No figures are shown until they can be read on chain
§ 1Core tray

The vein, round by round

All rounds

Each settled round is drawn as a drill core. Its length is the best hash anyone found that minute, in leading zero bits. Below the dashed oxide line a hash earns weight; past the cap it keeps its depth but no extra weight.

Not live yet. Cores appear as rounds settle.

§ 2Fees to pot to hashes to shares

One minute of LODE

  1. 01Fees

Every trade on the LODE pool (Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve, quoted in SOL) pays a flat 1.5% fee. Once a minute the keeper claims the fees the pool owes the deployer.

  2. 02Pot

90% of each claim goes into the program's vault as that round's pot, plus any carry from rounds nobody mined. 10% goes to the deployer.

  3. 03Hashes

Miners hash keccak256 of the round's challenge, their wallet and a nonce. More leading zero bits means more weight: each extra bit doubles it, up to a cap.

  4. 04Shares

At settlement each miner earns pot x weight / total weight, credited to an on-chain balance and paid out in SOL with claim.

A round with no miners carries its pot into the next one. Shares wait in your on-chain balance for about five hours (300 rounds); anything unclaimed and not credited by then returns to the pot. Proof of work costs electricity, GPUs hash faster than phones, and the pot depends entirely on trading. Read the risks.

§ 3

The miner runs in your browser.

It uses your GPU through WebGPU when the browser offers it, and every CPU core through WebAssembly when it does not. It submits on its own when your weight improves, restarts on each new challenge, and has a throttle for phones and laptops.
